Located in a serene and timeless tree-lined estate just north of downtown Baltimore, Evergreen Museum & Library was the perfect backdrop for Mandy and Ben’s black tie wedding. The nationally registered historic property features a magnificent 19th-century Gilded Age Mansion surrounded by elegant and manicured gardens, a sprawling terrace, carriage house and stables.

Bride Mandy carried a chic and garden-y bouquet of lacey and airy quickfire hydrangeas, lush garden roses, dahlias and the elusive white Japanese anemone, a delicate white flower that only blooms for two weeks of the year. Her bridesmaid carried petite versions of the bridal bouquet.

In the picturesque gardens, reminiscent of a European countryside, the wedding ceremony unfolded. The historic fountain served as a focal point adorned with cascading green vines, arranged to look as if they grew there naturally, crawled over its weathered stone edges. Roses, larkspur, zinnias, and limelight hydrangeas complemented the greens creating the effect of a garden gone slightly wild.

Right before the ceremony began, a rogue storm rolled through and we were forced to abandon the fountain and move all of the ceremony florals indoors for the rain plan. We reworked the pieces into a ground arch which created an organic nest for Mandy and Ben to say their I do’s.

The wedding reception was a breathtaking affair adorned with romantic and modern details. A stunning hanging floral installation over the head table served as the focal point, cascading blooms and greenery from the ceiling, adding a touch of whimsy and romance to the space. Lush centerpieces adorned each table, overflowing with delicate flowers and foliage, creating a captivating and luxurious ambiance against the modern black chairs and brick wall. Rows of flickering candles added a warm and intimate glow, further enhancing the enchanting atmosphere, making the celebration a truly magical and memorable event.

I like to say I was born to be a hair artist! My favorite toys as a little girl were velcro rollers, brushes and unplugged curling irons! Through my school age years I was the go to stylist for all of my friends before our fun nights out. After highschool I went to cosmetology school and officially started doing hair in 2007 in my hometown of Louisville, KY.

After two years behind the chair in Louisville I craved MORE!! So I packed up my life and relocated to the beautiful city of Chicago! I have called Chicago home ever since! After moving I immersed myself into continuing education taking classes in NYC, Vegas, California more! My love for extensions started with tape-ins and eventually evolved to hand tied hair extensions.

I now offer a variety of hand tied hair extension methods with my favorites being Natural Beaded Rows and ManeLuxe Method.

When I am not at the salon you will find me caring for my rowdy two year old son and my dog, Tuck, and my cat, Dottie.
